“Afkar-e-Imam Khomeni Conference” held

Shiite News: “Afkar-e-Imam Khomeni Conference” was held in connection with the 34th anniversary of Imam Khomeini under the auspices of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen district Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Majlis Ulema Maktab Ahlul Bayt Pakistan.

Conference was attended by a large number of people. Allama Syed Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi, Vice Chairman of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, speaking at the conference, said that Imam Khomeini’s revolution was a spiritual revolution, and all the theories of those who denigrated Islam were destroyed.

The world’s revolutions were based on economics, but Imam Khomeini’s revolution was purely based on religious, ethics and values.

Imam Khomeini made practical efforts for the unity of the Muslims, by carrying forward the message of unity of Jamaluddin Afghani, Muhammad Abduh and Allama Iqbal, and in the true sense of unity prevailed in the Muslim Ummah.

Mufti Gulzar Ahmed Naeemi, head of Jamaat Ahle Haram, speaking at the Imam Khomeini Conference, said that Imam Khomeini practically established the atmosphere of unity between the schools of Islam and we consider unity among the Muslim Ummah as obligatory and be grateful and should become a sharp sword in front of the enemies of Islam.

Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, Central General Secretary of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, said that Imam Khomeini’s thoughts have not been understood in the true sense yet, and the United States, which gives policies to the world in all fields, got failed in every field.

And Imam Khomeini is behind all this defeat and failure.

Allama Syed Samar Abbas Naqvi, general secretary of the Majlis Ulema Maktab Ahlul Bayt Pakistan, speaking at the Imam Khomeini Conference, said that Imam Khomeini performed the duty of the Prophet and the Imams, and he thwarted the nefarious plans of the tyrant rulers.

Imam established an Islamic government which was led by the scholars. His second major achievement was to unite the world of Islam in a good manner.

Addressing the conference, Allama Asghar Askari, said that Imam Khomeini took Islam out of the madrassas and Imambargahs and applied the message of Islam in the society, presenting the true face of Islam and Shiism to the world.

Allama Iqbal Hussain Behshti, Allama Ejaz Hussain Behshti, Allama Isa Amini also addressed and paid tribute to Imam Khomeini in wonderful words. A documentary on the life of Imam Khomeini was also shown to the audience.
