CTD claims to arrest 6 Takfiri terrorists in various operations

Shiite News: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) operations continue in view of recent terror threats. According to CTD spokesman, 6 Takfiri terrorists have been arrested during the intelligence-based operation.

These operations were conducted in Lahore, Rawalpindi, DG Khan, Sahiwal and Gujranwala areas. The spokesman says that the terrorists belong to various banned Takfiri Wahhabi organizations.

Explosives, suicide vests, detonators, hand grenades, weapons, bullets, cash and mobile phones have been recovered from the arrested terrorists.

Spokesman CTD further said that the arrested terrorists have been identified as Shoaib Rafiq, Baqir, Zahir, Shahzad, Afzal and Asif.

5 cases have been registered against these terrorists and an investigation has been started. According to the CTD spokesperson, 33 suspects were arrested during 238 combing operations this week, 11 thousand 41 people were questioned in the combing operations.
