Shiite News: Head of Shia Ulema Council (SUC) of Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, while congratulating the Islamic World on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali bin Musa Raza, has said in his message that for strengthening the basis and foundation of the religion of Islam after the martyrdom of his father, Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim, enrich the times with the teachings of his grandfather Imam Musa Kazim, he performed the responsibilities of Imamat in extremely difficult and unfavorable circumstances,
Imam also worked for arts, Sciences and of Medicine and in the fields of ‘Discussion and Debate’, , he was striving to fulfill the prophetic mission by performing the duty of spreading the religion of Islam.
Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that Imam Raza’s wisdom in politics and government, sociology, reforming society, human welfare and development, especially the supremacy of religion over other religions, are guiding principles for those who seek the truth forever.
The well-known Islamic historian Al-Zhahabi praised Imam Reza and wrote that “He is Imam Abul Hasan and the master and leader of the Hashemites of his time. He is the most pious of them. “Ma’mun blessed him because of his respect” and appointed a successor.
Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi further said that in view of Imam Reza’s status and greatness, he was included in the affairs of the state for the sake of guidance from the Imam, so he accepted this position in the wider interest of the Muslim Ummah for the sake of the supremacy of religion.
Quaid Millat Jafaria Pakistan emphasized that by adopting the life and character of Imam, the means of worldly and hereafter salvation can be provided and by studying the life of Imam Reza and by following their words and actions, we can mold our lives according to Islam.
The mausoleum of Imam Reza, the eighth Imam who was martyred by poison, is still a reference point in Mashhad and people visit it.
