MWM Lahore holds “Rahiyan-e-Karbala convention”, intra-party election

Shiite News: “Rahiyan-e-Karbala Conference” was organized by Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen District Lahore in the memory of martyrs of Parachinar and also conducted district intra-party election.

President Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Punjab Allama Ali Akbar Kazmi, Central Secretary, along with town and unit officials from across the city participated.

Secretary Political, Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi, President of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Mourning Wing Malik Iqrar, Member Central Youth Council Maulana Tasawar Mehdi, General Secretary Punjab Syed Hasan Kazmi, Secretary Political Punjab Syed Hussain Zaidi, Organizer District Lahore Naqi Mehdi, Coordinator Intra Party Election Aftab Hashmi Specially attended.

Addressing the Rahyan-e-Karbala conference, the central and provincial leaders said that Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen is always active in the field.

He said that implementing the manifesto of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen means first of all to play a positive role for the development and prosperity of Islam and motherland Pakistan.

He said that the endless sacrifices of the martyrs of the nation of Pakistan is a clear proof that our lives can be lost but the integrity of Pakistan cannot be compromised.

After the end of the Rahyan-e-Karbala Conference, the meeting of the party elections of the Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen district of Lahore began, in which the district organizer Naqi Mehdi resigned and the election process began.

Presidents and unit presidents and vice presidents of ten towns of Lahore district exercised their right to vote and the election commission for the new “Mir Karvan” of Lahore district was sent different names which finalized three names.

Najam Abbas Khan was chosen by majority vote among the three names including Najam Abbas Khan, Syed Khurram Zaidi and Syed Alamdar Zaidi.

The participants of the conference congratulated Najam Abbas Khan on his election as the President of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen District Lahore and expressed their best wishes.

Central Secretary Political Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi took oath from the newly elected president of Lahore district. Addressing the participants, the newly elected president said that he will try to fulfill the manifesto of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and the hopes of the workers.
