New form of Shia target killing: son and old father targeted during last 5 days

Shiite News: After Parachinar, Shia target killings started once again in Karachi, Shia personalities are being targeted under the guise of looting and robbery.

In Korangi, the young son and now his old father were brutally shot and martyred. The killer escaped easily after committing the crime.

Majlis Wahdat Muslim Karachi Division expressed regret over the incident, and demanded the Sindh government and law enforcers to immediately arrest the killers and bring them to justice.

According to the details, an active Shia leader, former member of the Peace Committee, Iqbal Shahji, a resident of Zaman Town Korangi area of Karachi, was shot and martyred by unknown armed terrorists near Azakhana Sughra Korangi No. 3.

Last night, he was shot on the head and seriously injured, from the scene of the incident, he was immediately transferred to Jinnah Hospital by ambulance, where he could not be revived and died.

It should be noted that Syed Azhar Rizvi (father), the young son of the deceased, was also targeted only 5 days ago in Korangi in which he was killed.

The police authorities called the murder a robbery attack and get rid of the responsibility.

It seems that Takfiri terrorists have changed their strategy of Shia target killing and our incompetent law enforcement agencies are also saving their skin by calling organized Shia genocide acts of looting and robbery to hide their incompetence.

Sources say that the deceased Safdar Shahji was also the uncle of Syed Rizwan Rizvi, president of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen District Landhi Korangi.

As soon as the incident was reported, Allama Sadiq Jafari, president of MWM Karachi division, divisional leader Razi Haider Rizvi, Zain Raza Rizvi and others immediately rushed to the scene. Jinnah reached the hospital and met the relatives of the deceased and expressed his condolences.

The leaders of MWM have also suspected Shia target killing on these two killings, they have demanded an immediate and transparent investigation from the Sindh government and law enforcement agencies, especially the IG Sindh and the Karachi Police Chief. And demanded that the killers should be brought to justice immediately.
