MWM to observe International Day of Destruction of Jannatul Baqi on 8th Shawwal in South Punjab, Allama Iqtar

Shiite News: Like other cities of the country, the International Day of Demolition of Jannatul Baqi will be observed on 8 Shawwal, 29 April.

MWM Pakistan South Punjab Provincial President Allama Syed Iqtar Hussain Naqvi, General Secretary Syed Zaeem Zaidi, Deputy Secretary General Jawad Mustafa, Organizing Secretary Syed Dilawar Zaidi, Broadcasting Secretary Saqlain Zafar and Provincial Spokesperson Atif Hussain in their joint statement.

It has been said that on the 8th of Shawwal, the graves of the Companions, the Mothers of the Believers and Imam Athar were destroyed in Jannat al-Baqi by the Al Saud government, after which, on the 8th of Shawwal, there was a worldwide protest against this anti-Islam act of the Al Saud.

Allama Syed Iqtar Hussain Naqvi said that protests will be held in all the districts of South Punjab like other cities of the country organized by Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan South Punjab.

A protest rally will be organized till Multan city, other parties will also be invited in the protest rally. He further said that the demolition of the graves of the Companions, Mothers of the Faithful and Imam Athar by the Saudi government is a slap on the face of the Islamic world.
