Extreme incompetence: CTD fails to find record of murder case of Shaheed Mohsin Naqvi

Shiite News: In the extreme of incompetence, Counter Terrorism Department failed to find the records of the murder case of Shaheed Mohsin Naqvi.

The court was told that the CTD officers have failed to locate the case records. The court expressed its anger over the loss of the sensitive case record.

The court sought a report from the DIG investigation regarding the registration of case against the officers guilty of negligence and adjourned further hearing till May 6.

At this occasion, the CTD officer came forward and said that a new record of the case is being compiled by taking the copies of the case from the Iqbal Town police station, the newly prepared record of the case will be presented at the next hearing.

Accused Ajmal alias Akram Lahori has filed a bail application after his arrest. The accused had martyred the famous poet Mohsin Naqvi in 1996.

Iqbal Town police station registered a case against accused Ajmal alias Akram Lahori in 1996. Mohsin Naqvi murder case was investigated by CTD officers.
