Shiite News: Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the people of Pakistan are the source of power, the opinion of the people is the Parliament and the Constitution of Pakistan.
The in-camera meeting of the National Security Committee of the National Assembly under the chairmanship of the Speaker National Assembly has concluded.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, who participated in the meeting, congratulated the Parliament and members on the completion of 50 years of the implementation of the 1973 Constitution.
According to the sources, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that the Constitution of Pakistan and the Parliament are the reflection of the opinion of the people.
The people exercise their opinion through the constitution and parliament. Sovereignty belongs to Almighty Allah, the Constitution has been empowered by this order of Allah Almighty.
The army chief said that the constitution says that the power shall be exercised by the elected representatives of the people. He also paid tribute to the makers of the 1973 constitution.
In the in-camera meeting of national security, the Army Chief, while answering the questions during the briefing, said that there is no no-go area in Pakistan at this time, Alhamdulillah.
Behind this success is a large number of martyrs and ghazis, who cultivated this country with their blood.
Army Chief General Asim Munir said that more than 80,000 of them offered sacrifices, including the blood of more than 20,000 Ghaziyans and more than 10,000 martyrs.
Terrorists have no other option but to accept the writ of the state. He said that the consequences of negotiations with terrorists came in the form of their further grouping. Negotiating the TTP was a mistake.
The security forces are ready to establish permanent peace in the country, in this regard intelligence-based operations are ongoing on a daily basis.
Army Chief General Asim Munir said that we should leave the discussion of new and old Pakistan and talk about “our Pakistan”, Pakistan has no shortage of resources and manpower.
