Al-Quds Day is a day to stand up against all oppressors of the world, Syeda Masooma Naqvi

Shiite News: Palestine is the blessed land towards which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) prayed with his Companions and Ansar.

It is the land from which the Prophet (PBUH) ascended for Mehraj. Muslims will not get Islam ‘Naab’, real Islam until independence.

If the world of Islam is desirous of peace and order, then they must immediately line up for the liberation of Palestine.

These views were expressed by the central president of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, Women’s Department, Syeda Masooma Naqvi, on the occasion of Al-Quds Day.

In a statement issued on this occasion she said that Imam Khomeini, may God bless him and grant him peace, called the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan (Juma-tal-Wadaa) as Al-Quds Day against the oppression and brutality inflicted on the oppressed Palestinian people by the imperialist powers for years.

Imam laid the foundation of the protest against the illegitimate Israeli state, which has been observed by the zealous Muslims of the Islamic world for many years.

Al-Quds Day teaches us to resist with persistence instead of succumbing to oppression, and it is not only for the Palestinian people, but also for all to stand up against oppressors of the world, fight against them and create a new spirit within Muslims. It is a day to create enthusiasm.

She further said that the day is not far when the holy land of Palestine will be freed from occupation of America and Israel.
