Youm-e-Ali AS: Meetings held to chalk out security arrangements

Shiite News: An important meeting was held at Deputy Commissioner South Complex to discuss security arrangements, law and order situation, sanitation arrangements and other arrangements for the Youm e Ali AS gatherings and processions held on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s) on the 21st of Ramadan in Shehr-e-Quaid Karachi.

The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner South District Captain (Retd) Mohammad Saeed Laghari.

In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion regarding the cleanliness arrangements, lighting arrangements at Imambargahs, law and order and security situation on the occasion of Youm e Ali AS.

While giving a detailed briefing to the Deputy Commissioner of South District, it was said that there are many Imambargahs in South District, in which majlis are held, apart from regional majlis.

The Deputy Commissioner South while giving instructions said that proper arrangement of cleanliness and lighting should be made at all Imambargahs and other Majlis and places of main procession passages and concrete steps should be taken regarding security.

He said that all necessary facilities should be provided for the mourners of Hazrat Ali AS. The Deputy Commissioner South gave instructions to all the district administration and other related institutions that the public should not face any kind of difficulties on this occasion, for this, several steps should be taken in advance with solid planning.
