Faith requires fasting in the holy month by following the command of Allah. Fasting is an act of worship in which a person does not eat or drink while observing the divine commandments despite having the power to eat and drink, so the hadith is Qudsi “Fasting is for me and I will reward it”.
In this blessed month, sleeping and breathing are also acts of worship. All this because we are all guests of Allah.
He said that the holy month is the month of thought and contemplation, in this blessed month the Holy Quran was revealed which is the light in the darkness and the cure for diseases.
Human destinies are determined by Allah in this month, and in this month is the Night of Qadr, which is better than a thousand months.
And in it, the Roh ul Ameen descended upon the Messenger of Allah with the command of the Lord. Hafiz Riaz Najafi, while delivering the Friday sermon at Jamia Ali Mosque, said that the name of this month should be taken with great respect, for example, the holy month of Ramadan.
Just saying Ramadan should not be enough. In the sacred month, one should show mercy to one’s servants so that they can fast properly and easily.
The Prophet of Islam says, “He who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.” The Prophet used to congratulate the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan on the Friday before the arrival of the holy month.
