Hypocrisy: JI supports Sipah Sahaba

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and Shia Ulema Council boycotted Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) meeting hosted by Jamaat-e-Islami on presenting the Criminal Amendment Bill for Insulting Companions based on sectarian hatred and religious extremism in the National Assembly and supporting the outlawed Takfiri terrorist group Sipah Sahaba and Lashkar Jhangvi.

According to the details, the meeting of MYC Punjab is being held today in Mansurah, the center of Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Javed Kasuri will preside over the meeting. Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and Shia Ulema Council (SUC) have announced boycott of the meeting.

Senior Vice President of Shia Ulema Council Punjab and MYC Punjab Allama Syed Sibtain Haider Sabzwari said in his statement that the Shia Ulema Council boycotted the meeting, to pass the partisan controversial criminal bill by the member of National Assembly of Jamaat-e-Islami.

We will boycott the meeting against, Jamaat-e-Islami on adopting a duplicitous policy, the founder of the MYC has become the spokesperson of the banned terrorist foreign group, we will not be a part of any platform that takes actions against our school.

He further said that the MYC was established for harmony between different schools of thought, Jamaat-e-Islami is protecting the agenda of the banned terrorist group instead of creating an atmosphere of unity and agreement between different schools of thought.

Not only today’s meeting, they will boycott the MYC in the future as well.

Secondly, MWM Central Punjab President Allama Syed Ali Akbar Kazmi has also said in his statement issued by the media cell that MWM is boycotting the meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami in Mansurah today.

We have always strengthened the platform of the MYC and will continue to strengthen it. But we will not allow the agenda of any Takfiri group to reach completion.
