MWM leader denies taking additional charge of the food ministry

Shiite News: Gilgit-Baltistan Agriculture Minister Kazem Maisam has denied for taking additional charge of the Food Ministry.

After which Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid has started considering giving the ministry to another cabinet member.

Recently, Provincial Adviser Food Shams Loun was withdrawn from the Ministry of Food and made the Adviser Home while the Ministry of Food was given to Kazem Maysam.

According to the sources, Kazem Maisam decided in view of the cut in the quota of wheat by the federal government, the demand to increase the prices of wheat, the negative politics of the opposition leader and members of the opposition on wheat and the possible inflationary storm in the coming times.

However, Kazem Maisam has decided that he will not keep the portfolio of the Ministry of Food due to the demand of the federal government to increase wheat prices.

As a result of the negotiations with the MF, wheat transportation costs are certain to increase after the new tax hike and petrol price hike.

In this case, it does not seem possible that the supply of wheat can be made possible in the current subsidy, therefore Kazem Maisam has resigned from holding the portfolio of the Ministry of Food instead of appearing in any exam.
