Ummat-e-Wahida delegation calls on Iranian Vice President

Shiite News: A 40-member Sunni scholars delegation from Pakistan met Iranian Vice President Dr. Abdus Salam Karimi.

The delegation met with Iranian leader under the leadership of Allama Muhammad Amin Shahidi, the head of Ummat-e-Wahidah Pakistan, Ahle Sunnat Ulemas, Sheikhs and Sadat-e-Uzam associated with various schools of thought from Pakistan met with the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran.

Talking to the delegation of Sunni scholars, the Iranian Vice President said that in Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei is not only a Shia, but also the leader of the Sunni people, and he has legally declared it a crime to degrade sacred personalities of Ahlesunnah.

The 40-member delegation of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan held a special discussion with Dr. Abdus Salam Karimi, the Iranian Vice President and the representative of Ahl-e-Sunnah Ulama in the Majlis Khubargan, in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Dr. Abdul Salam Karimi said in his special address that Iran is the homeland of all of you and Pakistan is also our homeland.

He said that 44 years ago, all the forces of Muslims in Iran defeated the tyranny and established the Islamic system, the revolution.

Islamic Iran started its journey of success after independence and established an Islamic democracy. Every women or men are equal here, every religion should have all the rights.

He further said that we, as Ahle-Sunnah, also declare Ayatollah Khamenei as our leader, the constitution of our country is in accordance with the Holy Quran and we are fighting against the enemy. The one who spreads discord are Satan and the one who promotes unity is the servant of the Most Merciful God.

He said that Ayatollah Khamenei declared insulting the Companions and Mothers of the Faithful as forbidden by Sharia and a crime by law.

Those who spread division are British agents and those who fuel Sunni sectarianism are actually American agents.
He further said that the example of Muslims’ Masalik is like five fingers, if they are united, it is a strong punch or power against the enemy, if one of the five fingers is damaged, it is as if it is damaging the whole hand itself.

These 5 points are very important for unity among Muslims, the first is “tabyeen”, which means understand each other, for which spiritual insight is necessary, the second is “tabligh”, that is, spreading only Islam not sects, the third solution for the unity of Muslims is patience and tolerance, it is not correct that you make takfir of others, God does not look at the hands tied or untied but the hearts.

He said that the final solution is not to go beyond religious authority, you should follow your religious authority, if you are a Jafari then follow the teachings of Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s.), if you are a Hanafi then follow the teachings of Imam Abu Hanifa.

He further said that do not differ on the basis of the color of the turban, be colored in the color of God, the different colors of the Islamic society is a good practice and it is similar to the rainbow, do not discredit this beauty but unite as one Ummah.

Dr. Abdul Salam further said that if a Shia follows a mujtahid, it does not mean that the other mujtahids are wrong, it is just a difference of opinion.

The target is Islam only, such a different Masalak does not mean that the rest of the Masalaks are wrong.
At the end of the meeting, the head of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Amin Shahidi also expressed his views.
