Shiite News: A 40-member delegation of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan has arrived in Iraq from Qom al-Muqadisa to the holy places and will visit Karbala, Najaf Ashraf, Kazmain, Samarra and Baghdad.
On reaching Najaf Ashraf, Allama Ameen Shaheedi welcomed the delegation. According to renowned journalist Tauqeer Sajid Kharal along with the delegation, the Ahle-Sunnat, Sadat-e-Uzam and Ulama have been enthusiastically welcomed in Karbala.
Attendance of delegation at Imam Hussain’s grave:
After arriving in Iraq, the delegation visited the shrine of Imam Hussain (AS). The participants of the delegation including Sadat e Karam, Ulema and Mashaikh, who were part of the delegation, offered their greetings to the grandson of the Prophet Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) with tearful eyes.
The delegation had the honor of visiting the shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and after kissing the holy shrine, offered prayers.
Pilgrims of Syed Al-Shohada (a.s.) hummed and begged before the Prophet’s son who was afflicted in Karbala and prayed for the world of Islam and the security of the country.
On this occasion, the head of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Ameen Shaheedi, said that by attending the holy pilgrimage, the closeness and love between different sects will increase further.
The Sunni scholars included in the delegation said that pilgrimages to holy places in Iraq after Iran is a good example of unity among Muslims.
Attendance of the delegation at Shrine of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (AS):
Later, the 40-member delegation of Ummat-e-Wahidah Pakistan, attended the grave of the martyr of Karbala, Hazrat Abul Fazl al-Abbas, AS.
Scholars with tearful eyes paid their respects at the shrine of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (AS). The Pilgrims of Karbala, appealed to Hazrat Abbas (AS), and recited Ya Kashif Al Karbe An Wajhil Hussain a.s.
On this occasion, Allama Muhammad Abbas Waziri said that the position and status of Hazrat Abbas bin Ali (peace be upon him) is very high. The shrine of Hazrat Abbas is one of the most important places of pilgrimage near the shrine of Hazrat Abbas.
A special banquet was organized for delegation at Shrine of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar AS:
Ahle-Sunnat Ulemas, Mashaikhs and Sadat included in the delegation of Ummat e Wahidah Pakistan attended the graves of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and Hazrat Ghazi Abbas (A.S.) Arranged.
On this occasion, the scholars expressed their love and devotion to Maula Abbas (AS) and said that the banquet on behalf of Utba Abbasiyya (a.s.) was no less than an honor.
Meeting of delegation with Secretary General Utba-e-Abbasia and Ameer of Bani Hassan tribe:
On the first day of the visit to Iraq, the delegation of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan, headed by Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi, met with Mustafa Ziauddin, Secretary General of Astana Abbasiya Office of Mullah Abbas Alamdar.
Bani Hasan Sheikh Hussain Ali Al-Basi, the Amir of the tribe of Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) had a special conversation with the delegation and expressed his special greetings to the people of Pakistan.
Mustafa Ziauddin, Secretary General of Astania Abbasia, said in his address that service to humanity is the first priority of Utba Abbasia, regardless of creed and religion. We welcome five million pilgrims every year. Under the guidance of Ayatullah Syed Ali Sistani, we have destroyed our enemy ISIS.
He said that the people of Iraq have learned the lesson of kindness and generosity from Imam Hussain, AS.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mufti Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal said that the people of Iraq and Pakistan have a number of common values, the global imperialist enemy is one, we will be side by side with our Iraqi brothers in any difficulty.
After the meeting, precious gifts were bestowed on the delegation by Utba Abbasiyya. On this occasion, His Highness Sayyed Waleed Bahaj, Head of Research and Studies Shrine of Imam Hussain (AS) Sayyed Muhammad Taqi Al-Hakim, Director of External Affairs, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) Foundation for Dialogue and Building Peace, Utbah Hussainiyah, His Highness Sheikh Sajid Raza Khan Najafi, the founder and head of Iraq Najaf Ashraf and Allama Muhammad Abbas Waziri were also present.
A special meeting of the delegation with the General Manager Utba Hussainia:
In Karbala, Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi, the head of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan, along with a 40-member delegation of Sunni scholars, had a special meeting with Haj Hasan Rasheed Al Baiji, the General Manager (Secretary General) of Astania Husnia.
In the meeting, he said that Utba is rendering services to the people across Iraq regardless of religion, we will soon complete the construction of the hospital in the name of 12 Imams.
