Shia Sunni scholars visiting Ziyarat-e-Muqadisa Iraq

Shiite News: The delegation of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan has reached Najaf Airport from Tehran, the capital of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Upon arrival in Najaf Ashraf, Allama Amin Shaheedi welcomed the delegation along with the representative of Shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain AS, Muhammad Taqi Al Bahaj.

A reception session for a 40-member delegation of Ahl-e-Sunnah Ulama and Masaikh was organized at Madinah Imam Hasan (AS) for pilgrims.

On arrival in Iraq, Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi spoke to the delegation. He said that we are travelers on a spiritual journey, we should not be fond of material comforts during the journey of love and consciousness.

Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi said that the delegation will stay in Iraq for ten days and will have the privilege of visiting holy places in Najaf, Karbala, Kufa, Samarra, Kazmain and Baghdad.

Allama Sajid Khan Baloch, the organizer and official on behalf of Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain AS, said in his speech that the pilgrimage to Karbala is a renewal of the promise to Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
If we were in Karbala, we would have been with the Imam and sacrifice our life for Him.
Muhammad Taqi Al Bahaj informed about the administrative issues. He said that special meetings will be arranged with the custodians of the Haram and the Imams in Najaf and Karbala.

The delegation will visit the museum and libraries of Haram. Official Banquets of the Harams of Najaf and Karbala, meeting with important scholars and teachers of Najaf Ashraf.

In the same way, there will be a discussion regarding the commonality and the unity of the Ummah.

Shrines of Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), museums, Libraries and observing the relics of Ahl al-Bayt, meeting with guardians of Haram and the special “langar” of the Haram will be arranged.

Delegation will also visit Imam Abu Hanifah Jurisprudential Center in Baghdad, visiting the library and meeting with the teachers.

Visiting the shrine of Hazrat Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani, there will be a meeting with the guardians, a visit to the al-Salafi center in Baghdad and a meeting with the teachers and an academic session.

There will be a pilgrimage and a feast in Samarra, and in the city of Kufa, delegation will also have the honor of visiting holy places.
