Police foils Takfiri terrorists attack on Makadwal PS in Mianwali

Shiite News: The attack of Takfiri terrorists on Makarwal police station of Mianwali district of Punjab has been foiled by the police station staff.

According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the terrorists fled after the exchange of fire. District Police Officer Mianwali Mohammad Naveed reached the Makarwal police station.

According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar contacted the police station chief on telephone and congratulated the officials for thwarting the attack.

According to private TV, 20 to 25 terrorists surrounded Makarwal police station of Mianwali and started heavy firing.

According to the preliminary information, the terrorists were forced to flee due to the retaliatory fire of the policemen, however, they climbed the mountains and continued firing at the police station and the police force also retaliated.

It should be noted that the area of Isa Khel is adjacent to the border of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and KPK begins at a distance of 10 to 15 km from Makarwal police station.
