Kazim Maisam given additional portfolio of Food Ministry

Shiite News: In Gilgit-Baltistan Cabinet, an important change was made and for the first time the Advisor for Home Affairs was appointed.

According to the notification, the food portfolio has been handed over to Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Assembly Member and Parliamentary Leader Muhammad Kazim Maisam to withdraw the food portfolio from Food Advisor Shams Lone.

Now Kazim Maisam will have the food portfolio along with the agriculture ministry.

On the other hand, Food Adviser Shams Lone has been appointed as Interior Adviser. It should be remembered that in the history of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Interior Advisor has been appointed.

Earlier, the portfolio of interior was held by the Chief Minister. On behalf of the Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid of Gilgit-Baltistan, the additional portfolio of the Ministry of Food has been handed over to the Minister of Agriculture, Kazim Maisam.
