Controversial Sahaba bill, a deliberate effort to damage “Paigham-e-Pakistan” narrative, Wahidi

Shiite News: Central Vice President of Shia Ulema Council Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi said that Pakistan is the blessing of Allah Almighty, it is the first country in the world that came into existence in the name of Islam, it is a great crime to harm the unity of the nation by spreading division and chaos and extremism.

Addressing Divisional Ulema Conference he said that creating rift among Muslim brothers and issuing fatwas of blasphemy, taking the law into their own hands and imposing their faith on others has created instability in this country.

Our leader Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, who played a fundamental role in making this country the cradle of peace and unity and respecting the sacredness of all religions, is rightfully the founder of peace in this country.

The Central Vice President of the Shia Ulema Council said that we have discussed at every forum that the Constitution of Pakistan is a unified national document with which no one has any disagreement, but if any new legislation is to be enacted or any amendment bill is to be brought, all this step should be consulted with all schools of thought and taken them into confidence.

If all are not taken into confidence, an atmosphere of chaos and disunity will arise in the country, which is not useful for the country’s stability in any way.

Allama Arif Wahidi further said that the “Paigham-e-Pakistan” is a message for peace and unity in the country and also it is a unanimous and excellent document in which we played our full role in making it.

So far, there are signatures of thousands of scholars of all school of thought, with this amendment, an attempt has been made to sabotage this narrative and waste its fruits.
