Shiite News: The patron of the Markazi Tanzeem-e-Azadari Pakistan and renowned religious scholar Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi has said that we completely reject the Criminal Law Amendment Act 2021.
Passing this controversial bill by ignoring the existing institutions like Majlis-e-Amal is tantamount to fueling the fire of communalism in the country.
In a press conference after the “Qomi Yakjehti Convention barye Rad e Fasad” in Masjid Khair-ul-Alam Incholi Society, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi said that imposing controversial legislation and biased thinking on the people of Pakistan without defining the limitations of insults and other titles is to create anarchy in the country.
We regret that seriousness was not shown in passing this most important amendment despite the lack of quorum of the National Assembly.
He said that approval of such a bill is promoting the mindset of terrorism, extremism and extremist elements.
Allama Shahenshah Naqvi further said that our leadership has been playing key role for unanimous legislation, religio-political harmony and unity for a long time and has always urged the rulers to save the nation from such legislation, which promotes division and hatred in Pakistan, paves the way for fatwas and takfir elements, which can pose a threat to the country’s internal security.
He said that we appeal to the Chairman Senate and the members of the Upper House and the President of the State Arif Alvi not to allow this bill to be passed, otherwise we reserve the right to all kinds of objections.
