“Toheen-e-Sahaba” bill will foster religious hatred, All Pakistan Shia Action Committee

Shiite News: The spokesperson of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee (APSAC) has said that we as followers of Ahl al-Bayt and the school of Shia strongly condemn the recent controversial amendment bill and demand that the word blasphemy (toheen) in this proposed bill be clarified. And its limits and restrictions should be determined.

In his statement, the spokesperson said that stating Muslim historical facts or their religious ideas and promoting them does not fall under the category of insult, if their limits and limitations are not defined and clarified, then we will never pass this bill.

We millat-e-Jaffaria cannot accept this bill because it will promote evils like religious hatred and terrorism, in this regard we hope that all the members of Senate and the President of the country will not pass this controversial amendment in any case.
