Legislation is a controversy without expert opinion, oversight urged by Shahenshah Naqvi

Shiite News: Well-known religious scholar Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi has said that Millat-e-Jaffaria rejects the controversial bill of “Toheen-e-Sahaba” Amendment Bill 2021.

In a statement, he said that the approval of such a bill without obtaining the opinions of the religious personalities involved in the Islamic Ideological Council, the Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) and the (defunct) Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) is tantamount to promoting sectarianism in the country.

The signatories are not experts in Islamic teachings and the person presenting the bill is accused of sectarianism. He demanded strong oversight to stop such controversies.
