Nasir Sherazi rejects Criminal Amendment Bill 2021

Shiite News: We reject the Criminal Amendment Bill 2021 and calls on the state officials not to allow any such bill to become a part of the law, which would affect the overall harmony and tolerance of the country.

These views were expressed by the Central General Secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi Advocate in his statement issued to the media cell.

He said that the title of this bill is beautiful, but its content is based on communal thinking, so the country can never afford such a law which will spread confusion in the streets of the country and take the guise of a hateful law.

Opportunistic people with takfiri mindset could misuse it for their violent ambitions and innocent people are exposed to it every day.

He said that the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees to ensure respect for the sacred of all religions.
Such legislation will lead to further strengthening of biased attitudes and thinking in the country which is contrary to the constitution of Pakistan.

The nation of Jafaria strongly rejects this law, which shows a serious fear of spoiling the overall atmosphere of tolerance.
