CTD’ major crackdown on Takfiri Wahhabi terrorist network

Shiite News: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested 5 terrorists from various districts including Lahore in a major crackdown against the Takfiri Wahhabi terrorist network.

According to the spokesperson of CTD, equipment for making suicide vests, explosives, weapons and prohibited literature have been recovered from the arrested terrorists.

Among the arrested accused are also the main commanders of the outlawed organization Sipah Sahaba/Lashkar Jhangi.

The arrested terrorists include Farooq Shah, Saifullah, Shahzaib, Ahmed Khan and Asrar Ahmed.

The accused had completed terrorist planning in sensitive districts. According to the CTD spokesperson, more than 21 thousand people were checked in 504 combing operations this week.

This week, 153 suspects were arrested and 67 people were recovered during the operation.
