Shiite News: 11 years have been passed since the martyrdom of Shaheed Askari Raza, He was killed by Takfiri elements, on December 31, 2011,

Martyr Askari Raza was martyred by the terrorists of the outlawed Sipah Sahaba/Lashkar Jhangvi on December 31, 2011 in Nepa Chowrangi Gulshan Iqbal area of Karachi.

Shaheed Askari Raza, who breathed a new spirit of awareness into the lifeless body of Millat-e-Jafaria with his pure blood, is being observed today.

Shaheed Askari Raza has the distinction that his martyrdom has fostered a new passion and enthusiasm not only in the Shia of Pakistan but also in the Shia Haider-e-Karrar (a.s.) living abroad.

Shian-e-Haider-e-Karrar (A.S.) of Karachi put aside all differences and staged a historic two-day dharna outside the Governor House Karachi along with the body of Shaheed Askari Raza.

And this historic sit-in ended after the FIR was registered against the designated murderer, the leader of the banned Sipah Sahaba, Aurangzeb Farooqui, and after this FIR Shaheed was laid to rest in Wadi Hussain on January 2, 2012, with groans and sobs.

Later, the historic national and international protests against the tragedy of Quetta and Mastung are also considered to be the precursor to the protest against the martyrdom of Shaheed Askari Raza.
