We are ready to sacrifice as much as we have to for mourning, Allama Maithami

Shiite News: Central Secretary General of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maisami, while talking about the Ashura procession in Karachi on December 28, 2009, said that if the strength of mourning in the world is to be seen, then one should see the scenes after the Ashura attack on the procession of Imam Hussain (AS).

The voice of Ya Hussain (AS) was loud all over the world, suddenly there was a blast on the mourners in Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan.

History witnessed that not one child ran away, not one flag of Hazrat Abul Fazl al-Abbas (AS) came to earth. The procession continued towards its destination, the passion of Ishq Hussaini (AS) increased.

The funerals of the mourners were taken up after the procession, everywhere there was the sound of Ya Hussain (A.S.).

We are a nation, which has carried the most funerals in Pakistan, yet we have taught peace, spread the message of peace throughout the country and its practical image is the founder of Ittehad Ban ul Muslimeen Quaid Millat Jafaria Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid.

We have always sacrificed and will continue to sacrifice. Our philosophy is the philosophy of sacrifice. We are ready to make any sacrifice for mourning.
