ISO will continue to raise voice for recovery of forcibly disappeared Shia mourners, Hasan Arif
Shiite News: Central President of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan Hasan Arif met the family of missing Shia mourner Bilal Haider and assured them of full cooperation regarding Bilal’s recovery.
Hassan Arif said that he stands with Bilal Haider’s family and condemns these extrajudicial actions. He said that ISO will continue to raise the voice of protest for the recovery of all missing mourners including Bilal Haider.
He said that such an atmosphere is being created in Pakistan that the people will stand up against the state, those who take such actions are not well-wishers of the country and nation, they should reconsider their policies.
Later talking to media representatives, Arif Hassan said that Shia mourner Bilal Haider has been abducted for eight months, if he has committed any crime, there are courts, he should be brought to court and punished.
Enforced disappearance is a crime, he said that the disappearance of youth in this way is a clear violation of basic human rights and the constitution. Central President ISO Pakistan Hasan Arif demanded from the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Army Chief and Prime Minister of Pakistan that all the missing Shia mourners including Bilal Haider should be recovered immediately.
