Allama Masami participates in 41st IFSB Council meeting organized by the State Bank of Pakistan

Shiite News: Chairman Al-Sadiq Institute of Islamic Banking System, Member Sharia Advisory Committee State Bank of Pakistan Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maithmi attended the 41st Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) Council meeting organized by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Briefing the media, Allama Shabbir Hasan Maisami said that the biggest problem in the banking system at the moment is riba (interest) and discussion for the elimination of this thing (riba) in such conferences is a good practice.

Representatives of Islamic banking from all over the world are engaged in joint (riba-free banking) efforts.

On behalf of Al-Sadiq Institute of Islamic Banking System, we organized a “Riba Free Conference” in this regard in Karachi, in which important officials of various banks participated.

Al-Sadiq Institute is currently engaged in training the youth of Pakistan in Islamic banking system.

This effort is very important for the future so that we can save our youth from that thing (Raba) which is like open war with Allah and His Messenger.

The efforts of the present government in this regard are commendable, and I also appeal to all my friends who hold important responsibilities in the banking system to raise their voice vigorously and effectively in this regard.
