CENTCOM chief calls on General Syed Asim Munir

Shiite News: General Michael Eric Kurilla, the CENTCOM Commander, has met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir here at GHQ on Thursday.

According to ISPR, the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army, General Asim Munir welcomed Commander US CENTCOM General Eric on his arrival at GHQ.

According to ISPR, regional stability, security situation, and cooperation in the fields of defense and security were considered in the meeting, and cooperation between the forces of the two countries was also discussed.

According to ISPR, the meeting also held delegation-level talks between the two countries. The CENTCOM commander appreciated Pakistan’s achievements in the war against terrorism.

According to ISPR, the CENTCOM commander appreciated Pakistan’s role in flood relief efforts and regional peace.

According to ISPR, the American delegation will also visit the Torkham border today, the delegation will be briefed on counter-terrorism and border management procedures on the Pak-Afghan border.
