We have full right to choose our faith in this country as believer of Ahlybait A.S, Allama Shahidi

Shiite News: Allama Muhammad Ameen Shahidi, head of Ummat-e-Wahida Pakistan, has called the arrest of Imam Juma Quetta, Allama Ghulam Hasnain Wijdani, a biased action of Balochistan government and Quetta administration against Shia community.

He said that if we take off the lens of prejudice, there was no insult in the speech of Allama Ghulam Hasnain Wijdani, but by accusing him of insulting the Companions, the powerfultried to please Pakistan’s eternal enemies (TakfiriNabis).

AllamaWijdani’s speech was based on unity among Muslims, in which he emphasized unity and respect among Muslims and prevented them from hurting each other. In the same speech, he stressed on the development of the unity of the Ummah and said that while explaining the teachings of the AhlulBayt (peace be upon them), convey your faith to the hearts of children, they will understand right and wrong. The question is, does this conversation mean to insult anyone?

The problem of the dispute over the Caliphate started immediately after his death due to the difference in the interpretations of the hadiths of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Therefore, if we look at both the Shia and Sunni school of thought, it is proven that Hazrat Abu Bakr and Other Companions believed that Ali was angry with Abu Bakr and his companions on the issue of Caliphate and protested.

He said that Ahl-e-Sunnat scholars should play their role in establishing an atmosphere of tolerance in Pakistan by staying away from these bigoted nasbi and the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt and stay within the limits of their beliefs in their community and followers.

During the last forty years, sectarians and religious fanatics have brought this country to the brink of destruction through extremism, suicide attacks and takfir, enough for our next seven generations.

It is the responsibility of the people in power to stop this trend and not to make millions of Shiites of Pakistan sad by making false accusations against a patriotic person like Allama Ghulam Hussain Wijdani.
A move like unjustified arrest is not good for Pakistan and different sections of the Ummah.
