Nation proud of Sadpara Climbers, Kazim Maisam

Shiite News: A grand event was organized on the occasion of “World Mountain Day” by famous mountaineers of Sadpara.

Force Commander Gilgit-Baltistan, Minister Agriculture Gilgit-Baltistan and Parliamentary Leader Majlis Wahdat Muslimineen Gilgit-Baltistan Kazem Maisam and Minister Tourism Raja Nasir Ali Khan took special part in the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of Agriculture said that the climbers of Sadpara are not only proud of Gilgit-Baltistan but also proud of the whole of Pakistan.

Despite his lack of recognition and support at any level, he has made Pakistan proud by showing his talents all over the world.

He said that Sadpara has become a trademark at this time and the world has recognized, but due to not being a regular institution and training and not having any certification institution, other institutions put their services in their credit.

Establishing a Mountaineering School at Sadpara will be a big issue, we will fund for the Mountaineering School from ADP so it can be given status of an industry.

And mountaineers from all over the world can get training from here. A new chapter of mountaineering in Gilgit-Baltistan will open after establishing the Mountaineering School as per international standards.

Agriculture Minister Gilgit-Baltistan also thanked all the organizations for participating in this event and making this program successful, especially the climbers of Sadpara and other youths.

He assured to provide children of martyrs free education in Army Public Schools (APS).

Also announced to sponsor the youths who expressed their willingness to climb the highest mountains of fourteen and eight meters in the world by the Pakistan Army.

He also thanked Force Commander Gilgit-Baltistan Major General Kashif Khalil for providing special support for the construction of Sadpara Mountaineering School.
