After unequivocal stand of COAS, Parliament should enforce supremacy of Constitution, Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, says that the solution to all problems lies in the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law.

It is the responsibility of the Parliament to enforce the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law.
After independence 75 years have passed, but the nation has not been recognized till date.

Despite the clear order of the Supreme Court (SC), even today the implementation of the national language Urdu is not being implemented. What is the compulsion? Now the “Dang Tapaopolicy” must be ended.

He expressed these views while commenting on the statement of Chief of Army Staff General (COAS), Syed AsimMunir.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that after the statements of former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DGISI and DGISPR, this policy came up repeatedly that it was decided in February last year that now the institution not going to participate in any kind of politics.

However, the force with which the current army chief clarified that “there will be no compromise on the dignity of the institution and the supremacy of the constitution, the decision of the army to stay away from politics is irrevocable” is very welcome.

He emphasized that now it is the responsibility of the political governments and the parliament to enforce the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law, because the solution to all problems lies in the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law.

The head of the Shia Ulema Council further said that it is a pity that the nation could not find an identity for 75 years, the implementation of the national language “Urdu” was not implemented due to unknown reasons.

Similarly, the Supreme Court disposed of the reference under Section 6(2) of the Political Parties Act, 1962, as amended by the Interior Minister, declaring it null and void with the passage of time, but so far no action has been taken in this context.
