CTD encounters Takfiri terrorist, 4 killed

Shiite News: Four terrorists were killed in an encounter with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Force in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the details, CTD Mardan Region took action on the confirmed information about the presence of terrorists in Jaruba area of Nowshera district, where the terrorists opened fire on the officials.

The exchange of fire between the CTD personnel and the terrorists continued for a long time as a result of which four wanted terrorists were killed.

According to CTD spokesman, terrorist groups were involved in recent target killings, attacks on police, security forces and explosions at various police stations in Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, and other areas, while the accused who were killed were planning for a major operation.

The slain terrorists were identified as Latif Khan, Shahzaib, Muhammad Adil alias Umair, Anas and Tajooz Khan, three of whom belonged to Badh Bir area while Tajur Khan was a resident of Mardan who had been in Afghanistan for a long time.

According to the CTD officials, arms, gunpowder and other ammunition have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists while the search operation is ongoing to find the terrorists who escaped.
