Eight arrested for mourning at Shrine Abdullah Shah Ghazi (AS) could not be freed

Shiite News: As many as eight mourners arrested for offering “pursa” and holding a meeting and mourning for the martyrdom of his grandfather Imam Hassan Mujtaba (peace be upon him) at the shrine of Imamzada Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (peace be upon him) were not released even after three months.

The Anti-Terrorism Court, instead of punishing the police for not presenting a valid challan for the 8th consecutive appearance, left the mourners to spend more time in jail. The hearing of the case was adjourned till December 14.

According to the details, 8 mourners who were arrested for gathering and mourning at the mausoleum of Imamzada Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, who was buried in Clifton Karachi on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Hasan Mujtaba (peace be upon him) on 28 Safar al-Muzaffar, have not yet been released from jail.

On the 8th appearance in the Anti-Terrorism Court today, the respected judge raised the same traditional objection why the correct challan has not been presented so far, and on what condition were 24 people left before this ? After these questions, the hearing of the case was adjourned till December 14.

It should be noted that in this case, mourners have been forced to suffer the hardships of imprisonment for three consecutive months by imposing provisions of terrorism like 7ATA on the mourners.

Due to inexplicable reasons, the concerned police officers are still not presenting the correct challan before the court. The court is also not taking any serious action in this case when clearly according to the evidence, not even a match or a nail cutter was recovered from the mourners who were booked under terrorism provisions.

The troubles and anxiety of the families of the unjustly arrested mourners increasing day by day. Most of these arrested mourners were the sole breadwinners of their homes, and after their imprisonment, the turn of fates has come in their homes, but alas, our justice system is the source of relief for those who stole billions of rupees and the vicious murderers of a billionaire father.

But the poor prisoners responsible for minor offenses do not get justice even after being pushed by the courts for many years.
