Corruption has brought the country to brink of default, Nasir Abbas Shirazi

Shiite News: Corruption has brought the country’s economy to the brink of default. These views were expressed by Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, Central General Secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen in a statement issued by the media cell on the occasion of World Corruption Day.

He said that unfortunately those who have ruled the country in seventy five years have not taken sufficient measures to eliminate corruption from the country, but an environment has been created in which the feelings of acceptance for corruption have grown in the Pakistani society.

Only those who looted trillions of rupees from corruption in the country are sitting in the legislative bodies and making laws against accountability.

He said that the distribution of resources and wealth in our country is very unfair, by which the poor are affected the most.

There is many times more corruption in Pakistan than other countries in the world and the powerful people involved in corruption are always not in the grip of law.
