SUC hails COAS, CJCSC appointments as good omen for country

Shiite News: Central Additional Secretary of Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Allama Nazer Abbas Taqvi, has congratulated Lt. Gen. Asim Munir and Lt. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza for becoming the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

In his congratulatory statement, Allama Syed Nazer Abbas Taqvi said that the nation deserves congratulations for the important appointments in the Pakistan Army. The prayers of the entire nation are with the new army chief General Asim Munir and the Pakistan Army. It will prove to be the best for country and protection of its borders.

He said that he appreciates the decisions of the federal government on the appointments made on the principles of seniority, it is hoped that now there will be stability in the country and the problems of the people will also be reduced.
