Shaheed-e-rah-e-Qalam Shaheed Saeed Haider Zaidi, date of martyrdom 9 November 2012

Shiite News: I have been thinking for a long time to write something about my father, but time or studies did not allow it. But today I finally picked up the pen.

My father (Shaheed Syed Saeed Haider Zaidi) was martyred on November 9, 2012 (night of 24th Zul Hijjah) at Karimabad.

At that time I was about 16 years old. How I saw my father’s funeral, how that time passed, only I and my God know, only this prayer comes out of my heart since that time, that God does not show father’s funeral to anyone in this way.

The nation lost a great asset, which everyone regrets even today. But it should be remembered that everyone wishes for martyrdom, but not everyone’s actions are such that martyrdom wish for them.

In my view, perhaps there were some works of Shaheed that made Shahadat himself choose Shaheed. Among these tasks, the first task of the martyr was to perform the prayer with punctuality.

I don’t remember that it has ever happened that it was time for prayer and the Shaheed was not in prayer.

Another practice which was very evident in the life of the martyr and which was pointed out by his friends himself was his simplicity. Whatever the area of the city, Shaheed used to appear there on his motorcycle with the same simplicity.

Another thing that is very important for all of us, including me, is that the martyr participates in religious gatherings.

Communicating with the people there and introducing them to the truth of Islam was one of the main tasks of the martyr.

This is a brief aspect of the martyr’s life that has been tried to describe. But there is also one work of Shaheed which is not only going on till today, but it is increasing day by day, and that is Shaheed’s institution Dar-us-Saqlain, which is currently being run by the wife of Shaheed, that is, my mother.

With exactly the same determination, with the same concern, this institution is busy day and night to keep the determination and concern of the martyr alive.
