Apathy of federal, Provincial govts, greater tragedy than floods, Allama Domki

Shiite News: Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, the central secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, visited the flood-affected tehsil Khairpur Nathan Shah of Dadu district.

MWM district president Asghar Ali Hussaini and members of the district cabinet accompanied him on this occasion.

He distributed ration to the flood victims and spoke to the media, he also visited Madrasa Imam Jafar Sadiq (peace be upon him) and met the principal of the Madrasa, Allama Mehdi Raza Qumi.

Due to the recent floods, like thousands of houses in N Shah tehsil, the library building and four walls of this madrassa have been affected a lot.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki speaking to the media on this occasion said that N Shah of tehsil is presenting a scene of destruction in the recent rains and floods, despite the passage of two and a half months, the people of the area are still going to their homes on boats.

Agriculture and rice crops have been completely destroyed. The greater tragedy than this disaster is the apathy and indifference of the federal and provincial governments.
