Shiite News: Central Secretary of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki visited the flood victims’ camp in Kot Diji of Khairpur district and inspected the damage caused by the flood water.

On this occasion, MWM Tehsil Kot DG Organizer Sarfraz Ali Malah, MWM Rabta Secretary Mehtab Hussain Zakir Hussain, Muhammad Baqir Anil Hussain and other organizational workers accompanied him.

While expressing solidarity with the flood victims, ration and relief materials were distributed among one hundred affected families.

Speaking on the occasion, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that the problems of the flood victims have not subsided because the people living in the collapsed houses need tents and blankets as soon as the winter season begins.

Due to the destruction of people’s agriculture, they are in dire need of flour and ration. He said that the government should answer why the people did not get aid.

And finally, why did the government fail to help the flood victims despite the lofty claims? He said that Kot Diji, the tehsil headquarters of Khairpur district, is showing a scene of destruction due to floods, but it was completely ignored by the Sindh government.

The government and welfare organizations should help the flood victims by providing wheat seeds and fertilizers.
