KP govt takes notice of derogatory matter in textbooks on MWM appeal

Shiite News: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took immediate notice of the use of insulting words related to the Ahlul Bayt A.S in the textbooks and issued an order to correct the textbooks.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board realized the mistake as a result of constant communication and lobbying of MWM leader and Provincial Vice President Majlis Ulema Shia Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Allama Syed Abdul Hussain Hussaini with the provincial government.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board has issued a notification to all relevant institutions and authorities that some sentences in the published Islamiyat books of the 4th, 7th and 8th classes should be corrected.

It should be noted that the religious sentiments of 80 million Shian-e-Haider e Karrar were badly hurt due to this intentional or unintentional mistake of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board and various Shia scholars and organizations raised their voices against it.

Earlier, MWM chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari had also raised this issue in a meeting with Chairman PTI Imran Khan and expressed his serious concerns.
