MWM protests in capital against killings of Zakir Naveed Ashiq
Shiite News: A peaceful protest was held by Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) District Islamabad after the Friday prayer outside Markazi Imambargah G-6/2 in Islamabad against the martyrdom of the well-known Zakir Ahlul Bayt Naveed Ashiq BA.
Addressing the participants, Allama Ali Akbar Kazmi, President Rawalpindi District MWM, has said that the heinous killing of Naveed Ashiq BA is actually an attack on Imam Hussain’s mourning and we strongly condemn this brutal act.
He said that this is not the first time, but several times the killers who attacked Millat-e-Jafaria were handed over to government officials, but till date, not a single Takfiri terrorist has been punished.
He also strongly condemned last week’s attack on an educational center in Kabul in which forty innocent female students were martyred and called it a complete incompetence and failure of the Taliban government.
In the end, the sports gala of female students in Gilgit-Baltistan was also opposed, in which, contrary to the traditions of the region, nakedness and vulgarity are being promoted as well as foreign culture is being promoted.
Addressing the participants of the protest, Maulana Jan Muhammad Haideri said that once again a deliberate conspiracy is taking place within the homeland to nurture extremist ambitions and by backing Takfiri thought, the country’s stability was at stake.
Masood Haider, Vice President of Anjuman-e-Jansaran Ahle Bait (AS) also addressed the participants of the protest.
