Funeral prayer of Shaheed Naveed Ashiq performed at the Governor House Lahore

Shiite News: The funeral prayer of Advocate of rights of Sayyida Zehra Shaheed Naveed Ashiq was performed at the Governor House Lahore.

He was martyred by the terrorist of Tehreek Lal Baig (Asif Jalali Group) during his speech at the mourning assembly in Sialkot.

Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi, Provincial Vice President Allama Syed Hasan Raza Hamdani, Shia Ulema Council, ISO, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria and other leaders of Shiite parties participated in the funeral prayer.

Maulana Mohsin Hamdani, the leader of Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria, led the funeral prayer outside the Governor House on Mall Road. The participants of the funeral prayer mourned and shouted slogans against the government.

The protestors said that the mastermind of this murder Malhoon Ashraf Asif Jalali, the head of Tehreek Lal Baig, should be arrested and punished severely.

The speakers said that there is no sectarianism in the country, it is a specific group, which is putting the peace of the country at stake by being the tool of external forces.

Allama Hasan Raza Hamdani said that we demand that Malhoon Maulvi Ashraf Jalali be arrested immediately and his name should be included in the FIR. Shaheed Naveed Ashiq BA was laid to rest in Mominpura graveyard amid moans and sobs.
