Shiite News: In another biased move the Sindh government has imposed a ban on mourning at the mausoleum of Imamzada Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, the fourth-generation grandson of Prophet Imam Hasan Mujtaba, in Karachi.

According to the details, in the letter written by the Assistant Commissioner Karachi to the Secretaries of Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushar, he has written that it was decided in collaboration with all stakeholders including Sindh Rangers, Sindh Police and District Administration that no organization will be allowed to mourn in the mausoleum of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, in future law enforcement agencies will ensure the establishment of peace in this area.

It should be noted that a few days ago, women and children were harassed by a certain sectarian group on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Hasan (AS) in the premises of the shrine, the videos of which also went viral on social media.

Later, after two days, a large number of Shia people took out a mourning procession from outside the shrine, which crossed all the barriers and reached inside the shrine.

On this occasion, 40 people were also arrested by the police, on whom cases have been registered under the provisions of terrorism.

In this regard, Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Sindh President Allama Baqir Zaidi has said in a statement to the media that mourning is our worship, we cannot be stopped from it. Under the supervision of Auqaf, there are many shrines in the country where mourning is done, the shrines of the Saints are not exclusive to anyone or owned by anyone, but these shrines are the center of honor for Islam and respect for all the Muslims living in Pakistan.
