Goal, character of Imam Hussain A.S are universal, says Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, head of the Shia Ulema Council (SUC) of Pakistan, has said in his message on the occasion of the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala that the benefactor of humanity, the grandson of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his goals are universal.

The elevation of the religion of Islam, cccc, and provision and restoration of human rights owe to the great sacrifice of the great Imam, Imam Hussain A.S.

He further said that not only millions of Muslims of different schools of thought around the world, but also people belonging to other religions, commemorate the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS) and his loyal and self-sacrificing companions with great devotion and respect.

He said that like the previous years, millions of devotees from all over the world, regardless of religion and creed, gathered on the land of Karbala to pay homage to the son of the Prophet (PBUH) and the martyrs of Karbala.

Humanity is divided into different groups, but the character of the son of the Prophet, Sayyid al-Shohada (A.S), is a model for all human beings beyond all these differences and class divisions.

Therefore, it is an honor and guidance for humanity to be associated with great character for the past fourteen centuries and is making use of great role regardless of religion and creed and region and country.

He further said that by gaining awareness and familiarity with the thought-provoking movement of the Prophet’s son Sayyid al-Shohada, unity and support of the oppressed, and hatred of Yazidi forces should be determined.
