Iraq announces to restore visas for Arbaeen-e-Hussaini

Islamabad: The Iraqi Embassy in Pakistan issued an important statement regarding the restoration of suspended visas and other travel facilities for Pakistani pilgrims going to Iraq for Chehlum-e-Imam Hussain (A.S).

Iraq Embassy has announced the restoration of suspended visas for pilgrims from Pakistan to Karbala for Arbaeen Imam Hussain.

It is also announced that the facility of Iraqi air reservation will be made available for Pakistani pilgrims who wish to participate in Arbaeen Imam Hussain

Also announced to permit the Pakistani pilgrims to enter Iraqi borders through Iran.

Pakistani pilgrims are requested to approach the office of Iraqi Airways to complete the necessary travel procedures.

According to the Iraqi Embassy, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s telephone call to his Iraqi counterpart on September 10 played a key role in efforts to secure the pilgrims’ journey and provide facilities.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar were commended for their extraordinary efforts in the process of restoring suspended visas by the Iraqi Embassy.
