Threats of strict action by the Punjab Police against Arbaeen marchers condemned

Shiite News: Chairman MWM Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has strongly condemned the threats of strict action by the Punjab Police against the marchers on the occasion of Arbaeen-e-Hussaini.

In his condemnation statement he said that any restriction on the participation of mourners in the procession of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) will not be accepted in any way.

He said that on the occasion of Chehlum Imam Hussain (a.s.), mourning processions and gatherings are organized all over Pakistan, in which the mourners of Imam Hussain (a.s.) participate in any manner, no restriction is acceptable.

The Constitution of Pakistan guarantees every citizen freedom of transportation within their own country.
In such a situation, issuing inappropriate orders and threatening cases against the mourners who participate on foot is a deviation from the Constitution of Pakistan.

On the other hand, on the order of Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, the central cabinet has started communication with all the provincial ministries of interior and the central government on the official order circulated on social media.
