Army called in Punjab on Chehlum Imam Hussain, decision to stop mobile phone service

Shiite News: The Punjab government called the army and rangers on the occasion of Chehlam and requested for mobile phone jamming.

Punjab Interior Department has called the Army and Rangers to maintain peace and order on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).

Army and Rangers have been called in 26 districts of Punjab including Lahore.

The army has been called in on the request of DCs and DPOs of the districts. According to the sources of the Interior Department, mobile phone service will also be jammed in the procession routes of processions of Chehlam of Martyrs of Karbala.

According to sources, the Interior Department has sent this requisition to the federal government.
