Shiite News: The head of Shia Ulema Council (SUC) Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, while meeting with various delegations, commented on the situation caused by the recent rains and floods and said that in the past there were arrangements to avoid the damage of rains and floods, which were better and successful.

In recent days due to lack of advance arrangements with regard to rains and floods due to climate change, mismanagement, corruption, encroachments on waterways, misappropriation and improper diking in water reservoirs to protect their property, Balochistan, Sindh, People in South Punjab and KPK have faced enormous losses.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi encouraged those who actively participated in the relief operations of the flood victims and appealed to the philanthropists, scholars, preachers, organizational officials and workers to continue their cooperation, to speed up the relief work.

He said that extraordinary loss of life and property is not a common occurrence in most districts of the country.
Millions of houses and buildings were flooded and the countryside was flooded, with millions of livestock being swept away.

Reparation is not possible unless we remain in the field purely in the spirit of helping.

In the end, he emphasized that the public should be informed about the aid received during the earthquake of 2005 and the flood of 2010, while it is necessary to find and implement permanent solutions to these problems in the future.

This is the time of humanitarian compassion and we pray for the flood victims to show compassion and live a life of peace and contentment.
