All mourning processions of Martrydom day of Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS) in Lahore ended safely
Shiite News: The Martyrdom Day of the Fourth Imam Hazrat Imam Zainul Abidin (AS) was observed with devotion and respect in Lahore like the rest of the world.
Mourning meetings were organized in the city and processions of coffins were brought out. Condolences were also held in other areas including Karbala Gamay Shah, Jamia Al Muntazar, Jafaria Colony, Imamia Colony, Johar Town, Model Town, Bhikewal, Iqbal Town, Vasanpura, Dharampura.
An effigy of a coffin was brought out from Minhaj Al Hussain (AS) institution in Johar Town on the occasion of Imam Sajjad (AS) Martyrdom Day. Mourners from across the country participated in the procession.
When the procession from Minhaj Al Hussain (AS) reached Hussaini Chowk, the evening prayer was performed under the leadership of Allama Sibatin Akbar.
The procession continued on its way throughout the night and ended at the time of Fajr prayer when it reached Minhaj Al Hussain (AS).
Before the departure of the procession, a mourning meeting was held, which was addressed by Allama Muhammad Hussain Akbar. Allama Muhammad Hussain Akbar shed light on the biography of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and narrated the events of Imam’s role in the Karbala incident and strong replies to Yazid in his palace.
