Grand Ayatullah Sistani allows Khums for Pakistani flood victims
Shiite News: Grand Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Husaini Sistani has allowed the Khums to be spent on Pakistani flood victims.
Grand Ayatullah Syed Ali Hussaini Sistani has given permission to spend two-thirds and 2/3 of Imam’s shares for the flood victims of Pakistan.
This permission is general, that is, whoever has the Saham-e-Imam (A.S) can spend two-thirds of it on these Momineen (believers).
Also, Ayatullah Sistani has already given permission to spend the Saham Sadat among the poor Sadaat, so if you have access to the affected Sadaat families among the flood victims, they can be given full Saham Sadat.
Earlier, Sayyid Ali Sistani was questioned that considering the recent floods in the two states of Pakistan, Sindh and Punjab, and the damage to the houses of many momineen, many of them have been deprived of basic assistance such as food and shelter, you are requested to allow the owners of Sahm-e-Imam to give the necessary amount from your share.
In response to the question, Sayyid Ali Sistani said that while expressing his feelings about this unfortunate incident and sympathizing with the victims and praying for the relief of their plight, the Muslim brothers and sisters of Pakistan can be given a share of the Saham-e-Imam.
Two-thirds 2/3 is allowed to be paid so that the essential needs of the injured can be met. We pray to Allah to grant success to all.
